ATCO Frontec is seeking a creative, proactive, and highly adaptable Recruitment Advisor with proven success hiring skilled trades for remote project sites, including remote U.S. locations and environments requiring real‑time operational responsiveness. This role supports fast‑moving project start‑ups and high‑volume hiring while maintaining a strong candidate experience and close partnerships with operations leaders.
Term: 12‑Month Contract
Location: Calgary
Responsibilities:
Lead full‑cycle recruitment for multiple project sites—often remote, rotational, or hard‑to‑staff—with an exceptional candidate experience that reflects ATCO’s Employment Value Proposition.
Drive high‑volume trades recruitment during rapid project mobilizations and ramp‑ups, adjusting quickly to changing site needs and shifting timelines.
Recruit for remote U.S. and Canadian locations, ensuring compliance with varying jurisdictional requirements and adapting sourcing strategies to local labour markets.
Operate in real‑time environments, responding quickly to urgent staffing changes, schedule updates, and operational priorities.
Partner proactively with business leaders and HRBPs to understand workforce plans, anticipate gaps, and build creative sourcing strategies.
Support hiring managers with interviewing, candidate assessment, onboarding processes, and recruitment best practices.
Contribute to business development by conducting labour market research, assessing availability of skilled trades, and providing staffing recommendations for new or proposed work.
Build relationships with external organizations to increase participation of under‑represented groups in trades and site‑based roles.
Maintain a strong talent pipeline for key roles, especially for remote and high‑turnover positions.
Attend recruitment events, job fairs, and client‑based open houses.
Travel to project sites as needed (limited).

Qualifications:
Post‑secondary degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years in a recruitment advisor–level role, ideally supporting trades or industrial hiring.
Demonstrated experience recruiting for remote or rotational project sites.
Experience hiring in remote U.S. locations is a strong asset.
Proven success coordinating mass hiring, mobilizations, and high‑volume ramp‑ups.
Previous experience with Oracle or the ability to quickly learn new HRIS/ATS systems.
Ability to work with highly confidential information appropriately.
