Who We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Sales Representative based in British Columbia to help grow Ava’s presence across the province. You’ll work directly with clinics, physicians, and key healthcare stakeholders, bringing a deep understanding of the BC healthcare landscape and a consultative, value-driven approach to sales. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a mix of outreach, relationship-building, and territory management — representing Ava as a trusted partner in modern, unified healthcare technology.
What You’ll Do
- Lead business development efforts across the BC healthcare market.
- Generate new business through inbound and outbound contacts, relationship building, and referrals.
- Manage and grow a qualified sales pipeline from first contact through close.
- Deliver consultative demos of Ava EMR, Ava Connect, and Ava Pro, showcasing real clinical workflow value.
- Prepare quotes and contracts, ensure timely follow-up, and close business.
- Leverage the VP, Sales & Marketing for high-value and enterprise opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong referral network through existing Ava customers and partners.
- Stay current on the BC healthcare ecosystem such as PrescribeIT, Ocean integrations, and EMR-related policy or funding changes.
- Participate in BC vendor meetings and share insights with the team.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to plan and coordinate BC conferences and events.
- Represent Ava professionally at events and ensure brand alignment.
- Remote role with periodic clinic visits, industry events and Ava Team meetings.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare or EMR sales with a strong understanding of clinical workflows and clinics decision-making processes..
- Proven ability to translate product features into meaningful clinical and business value.
- Organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated and able to thrive independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Based in British Columbia with a professional, quiet home office setup suitable for client calls and virtual demos.
- CRM experience (HubSpot preferred) with strong reporting and forecasting discipline.
- Confident managing a provincial territory and building relationships across diverse healthcare settings.
- Access to a vehicle and valid driver’s license for in-person demos, site visits, and events.
- Committed to upholding Ava’s security policies and protecting sensitive information.
